Scavenger Hunt With God

My divinely guided scavenger hunt uncovering multiple messages from Spirit

Scavenger Hunt

A Scavenger Hunt With God

A few days ago while scrolling through TikTok, I came across a video. It was a reference to Psalms 91, which they referred to as the most powerful prayer in the Bible. While listening to the reading of this scripture, I was moved in a way that prompted me to write it down in my journal. I use a particular journal to record my dreams, channeled messages from Spirit that I hear and come across throughout the day, signs and synchronicities, as well as angel numbers that appear to me often. I have been writing in it since June of 2021. I often reflect on what I have written to see if something has already come to pass or if the messages are significant to any current situation I am experiencing or know of. Afterwards, I wrote a few other things down and left it at that for the day.

The next day, after an extended session of prayer and meditation, I hopped on Facebook to check out all of the updates and see how my family and friends were doing. I came across a news update that took me back to a dream that I had last year, which led me on a search. I remembered that I had been looking for a specific dream that I wrote down in the early 2000's, which I had come across in my box of keepsakes while moving. Mind you, I haven't been able to find this dream for months. I had looked everywhere for it. It was written on three pages of folded notebook paper which I sometimes have the habit of stuffing in the pages of a book that I am reading at the time. So, I went on a search through all of my books that had papers in them and bookmarks.

During my search, I came across my dad's bible, which I have not opened since last year. So, of course being me, I squirreled away from my hunt to spend a few minutes flipping through the pages. In his bible there were pages marked with a card that was folded over. When I opened to the first marked page, to my amazement, there in front of me was Psalms 91! I had randomly marked this passage one year earlier and had completely forgotten about it and I am not sure why it was important to me.

What's more, the other part of the card was folded to mark Jeremiah 29 (see my post A Divine Message to learn more about the significance of this verse ) and the card was the one that the nurse gave to my daughter back in November of 2022, which I have been looking for a while. Not only had the card turned up, but the Jeremiah 29:11 passage was pointed out to me once again. And for some reason, I had randomly marked Psalms 91 back in November of 2022 which happened to come across my feed the other day. After that, I found the three sheets of notebook paper that I had written my dream on roughly twenty years ago.

Psalms 91 Message

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.

Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.

In Closing

My prayer that day was in regards to my direction and purpose. I have often felt as if I am just aimlessly wandering around and have no set destination or point of arrival. I asked Spirit to show me what I am to do and what direction I am to go in.

My answer: God had taken me on a scavenger hunt of sorts that day using multiple messages that I received from various sources. I found more than what I set out originally searching for and had received a few messages and confirmations. His final message to me after all of that took place, came via another random video on my feed which said, "All who wander are not lost."

Well played God...well played.
