A Divine Message | Jeremiah 29:10-11

An Unexpected Gift | Original Message Received In May 2019

In January of 2019, my new career as a Realtor had just begun and I was working diligently to build my business and gain clientele. Finally, in May of that year, I happened to get lucky with a lead that was randomly given to me by my old boss. My very first client Lisa, had reached out to me in hopes of selling her two quint, lakeside A-frame cabins and a vacant lot, located in the mountains. I was, of course, ecstatic to be able to assist her and finally put my experience and skills to use.

When I visited with her at the property, I thought she was one of the coolest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She took me around the small, private community and showed me all of the beauty it had to offer. We sat by the lake and I got to experience a welcomed moment of peace. She toured me through each property sharing stories of her vision, all of the work that she had completed and some of the memories she had made there. She was very creative and poured a lot of love into remodeling the cabin that she had been staying in over the years.

During this time in my life, I was going through some really difficult experiences. In addition to my real estate career, I was working on the side as a social media and marketing manager for two agents in our company, cleaning houses, and working on my creative endeavors...all while taking care of my parents and being a mom. My dad was battling cirrhosis due to fatty-liver which he was diagnosed with in July of 2018 and my mom was now fighting for her life against stage four rectal cancer, which she had just been diagnosed with in January of that current year.

After we had finished our meeting and paperwork, Lisa and I began discussing some of the things we were going through at the time. Just before I left, she told me that she felt led to give me something. It was a wooden-plank wall hanging with the verse Jeremiah 29:11 written on it. It read, "For I know the plans that I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future". Even though she eventually canceled her listings for the time being, I wholeheartedly believe that Spirit led me there to assure me that I wasn't forgotten or alone and to tell me what I desperately needed to hear. In addition, Spirit replaced those three lost transactions with three others from another client that I gained due to my sign being out there.

The Nurse On Call | Second Message Received In November 2022

By 2022, I had truly been to hell and back, which I will get into in my autobiography. But, at this time I was taking care of my mom who was re-diagnosed with cancer. This time around it was in her liver and there was nothing that they could do about it. My oldest daughter had moved back home, was pregnant and was planning for me to adopt the baby when he was born. There were many other things weighing on me and I was dealing with a lot in my personal life with the people around me. I took my daughter to her check-up at the OBGYN and they were checking her vitals for the appointment. She frequently talked to the nurses and one gave her a card. She said she felt led to give it to her. On it was a verse of scripture. When my daughter came out, she handed me the card. She said, "Here you go, this would mean more to you than me, I have no clue about it." Written on the card in pen was Jeremiah 29:10-11. I told her that it was the same verse as what was given to me by my real estate client a few years ago.

A Prelude To A Miracle | Third Message Received In January 2023

My mom had just passed away in December of 2022 and my daughter was due February 5th 2023. However, she spiked a fever out of nowhere and the baby's heart rate was over 200 bpm. They could not figure out what was causing it and he was in distress, so they rushed her over to be induced. My grandson (now my son) was born on January 27th. We had just gotten him home and a few days later had to rush him to the emergency room. Due to his stomach issues and him not eating much or waking much that day, they performed some tests along with an x-ray. They discovered that his intestines were twisted and his organs were mal-rotated. He was rushed up to emergency surgery and they had only 6-8 hours to save his life.

Once they performed the surgery to untwist his intestines, remove his appendix and place his organs where they should be, they moved us to an available room in the PICU. He then began to decline and almost crashed, so they rushed him back to conduct an exploratory surgery to discover what was happening. They found that he had formed a blood clot causing all but 7-10cm of his intestines to die and he had developed sepsis. So they gave us a choice. They gave him a 4% chance of survival if they tried to save his life or they would allow him to pass comfortably. But to me, a chance is a chance, so we told them to do all that they could. They were able to remove the dead intestines and he survived. He is now almost seven months old as I write this. He is TPN/Lipid dependent which he receives via an IV line called a broviac running through the artery in his leg and takes a bit of formula via a g-tube to stimulate and grow his intestines naturally.

Above his bed in the PICU room we stayed in for a couple of months was a ceiling tile that was decorated by a previous patient that was there years before. On this ceiling tile was the scripture, "For I know the plans that I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11

In addition, his surgeon, the man who saved his life was Dr. Angel, our chaplain was Angelina, and the friend who helped me so much during that time was Angela "Angel".
